1. CHOW TIME:
Food! Everybody loves food. It is the best social lubricant. Cooking it. Burning it. Eating it. Throwing it around! All kinds of food! A picnic, or a diner, or a barbecue, or a swanky restaurant which is going to regret letting you in very soon. The possibilities are endless.

2. SLAM DUNK:
Fuck yeah, sports. Who doesn't love getting all hot and sweaty in the sun? Balls, frisbees, cricket bats! Or, if you'd prefer not to torture yourself with physical exertion, maybe a game of pool is more your style.

3. ROCK N' ROLL:
It's always been your dream to play in a band together! Finally, you are making it happen. You are the most awesome bandmates and you make the best music. You are going to be stars!

4. GAME NIGHT:
Pawn to d4. Get out of jail free. Colonel Mustard did it in the conservatory with the revolver. Nooo, I told you not to pull that Zenga block out! I warned you, bro.

5. DARES & PRANKS:
Truth…or dare! Or maybe just the lot of you wrecking everybody else's shit. What a bunch of clowns. But face it! It was hilarious. Just maybe not for, uh, that particular guy, who is coming over here, right now, with that look on his face…

6. INTO THE WILD:
For some bizarre reason, you decided to leave your nice, comfy beds behind and camp outside. In the dark. In a tent! Or even just a sleeping bag, under the staaaaars. Don't burn the marshmallows! What was that noise?

7. REV THE ENGINES:
Look at this awesome ride. You'd be happy to take your friends for a spin, of course! Wind in your hair, radio blasting music, the works. Although you would never let them touch the wheel. Nope. This car is your baby (or your parents') and that would be an extremely dumb thing to do!

8. MAKE A SPLASH:
Whether it's an ocean or your backyard or a jungle pool, there's nothing like a good dunk in the water to cool you off! I hope you can swim, because you are going in. Right now!

9. DISNEYLAND!
The smell of cotton candy, the tinny music, the cooling puddle of vomit near the exit to the rollercoaster. It brings you back to when you were ten years old and you thought this was amazing! Or maybe you still do. Who knows. Either way, there are plenty of things to keep a friend or two occupied for a day.

10. SOMETHING ELSE
What? These traditional, sacred bonding activities are dull and cliched? Your friendship is special and you need to do something a little more special? Jeez, what a wet blanket. Kidding! In that case, you are limited only by your own imagination.

Chanyeol had been excited for their little excursion for weeks before the actual date. He'd even dragged Baekhyun to that little outdoors shop in the mall that sold heavy leather boots and hunting knives and, coolest of all, dissolving toilet paper that was good for the environment! Who knew all this cool stuff existed? He wish Baekhyun had this fabulous idea of going camping when they were younger. They could have spend to many weekends exploring the land! Fishing! Campfireing! It would have been even more awesome than their already awesome lives together.

Chanyeol's little two door car held their gear quite nicely and he didn't mind at all to have the task of unloading it all. He didn't really know how to set up a tent, anyway, and Baekhyun had seemed very confident about it. More power to him!

Halfway through unloading their sleeping bags and dissolving toilet paper and the little griddle plate he'd brought for cooking (like they were going to skin a deer, or something ridiculous like that) he'd found his guitar (campfire songs, just like in all of those coming-of-age movies they watched together and Baekhyun cried like a little baby while Chanyeol ate all the popcorn~) and a backpack he'd stuffed full of snacks. He could see Baekhyun from where he parked the car in the little clearing right off the dirt road and he stretched his long legs out onto the dashboard to watch him as he munched on some dried squid. He just remembered the twelve pack of beer he'd stuffed under the seat when he heard Baekhyun whining for him. He debated for a moment (he was far too whipped by his best friend) and got up to go investigate.

The scene was pretty pathetic. The tent all laid out flat like someone had deflated it. It looked pretty self-explanatory but, really, Chanyeol was a city guy and knew more about scoping out mall chicks and shopping than he did pitching a tent. Unless you wanna talk about another tent, but that's another story.

"What are you trying to do, exactly?" He asked as he walked over to squat next to his friend, a bag of dried squid still in hand as he tried to survey the best route to take with this particular puzzle.

Baekhyun had given up on the pole thingie for now and had moved on to one of the other thingies that he had drove into the ground (with much difficulty because why didn't the instruction book tell him he needed a freaking hammer to put together this stupid tent?) that was supposed to support the pole thingie. Or whatever, because he had gone from overconfident to on the verge of a mental breakdown of sorts by the time Chanyeol had made his way over to him. He was kneeling sadly, trying to pull one of the thingies (seriously, what the hell were they called?) out to reposition it when he glanced over just as his giant of a best friend finally wandered by.

"The pole thing almost broke my face," he sadly before he resumed pulling. Maybe he needed to space it all out a little more, because it was near impossible to bend that pole without it violently snapping straight and almost killing Baekhyun in the process. "And I don't even know which part of the tent is the opening and where the pole thingie-" he pointed to the offending item "-is supposed to slide through in it and this thingie-" he motioned to the .. other thing he was trying to pull out "-is supposed to hold it up. And then there are nails, but no hammer and some mesh thing and--" He was about to continue with his whine-rant when he glanced over again and noticed something.

"Yah." Baekhyun stopped and pointed to the bag of dried squid. "Yah, are you really done unloading the car? Where'd that come from? Yah! Why didn't you come help me!" Baekhyun just about flailed as he gave Chanyeol a light shove. "I called for you like ten times!"

Chanyeol, having been around Baekhyun for all of these years, knew just to wait until Baekhyun was done talking (which could go on for a long while) and then sort out the situation. Not that Chanyeol wasn't a talker or something, but that Baekhyun often jabbered for long periods of time when he was flustered. Chanyeol just squatted there while nibbling on his snack and surveying the flattened tent. He was just about to open his mouth to assess the situation when Baekhyun began to whine about the fact that Chanyeol had very much so been doing nothing but watching him struggle.

"I didn't hear you!" He said with a grumpy face and bit the last of his squid before smacking the bag against Baekhyun's chest to shut him up. "Well...I think you have to put the poles in through the clips." He said, which wasn't very helpful when he thought about it since it was sort of commmon sense.

"And then...like...stake it to the ground and it should be good, right??" He asked, a little exasperated. "Hold on, I have an idea." He stood up and pointed to where Baekhyun was already kneeling. "Stay there and I'll go on the other end to see if we can get it to pop up." He nodded and strode over to the opposite corner so he could put said pole thingy through the clips and on the count of one, two, three, stick the ends into the corner of the tent. It looked more or less okay but there seemed to be two more of those to do.

"Okay...sooo....just do the same for those other ones?" He asked as he stood up and looked over at Baekhyun with an unsure gaze. "Then we can light a fire and like, have a beer and do man stuff."

Baekhyun matched Chanyeol's grumpy face with a huffy one of his own, lips pursing together and eyes narrowing. "I was yelling so loudly, too!" Not really, he was just sitting there and whining every time something unfortunate happened to him, but that was besides the point. He grunted when the other hit him with the bag and quickly snatched it from his friend's hold, reaching into it for a piece of dried squid when his fingertips were met with nothing but the bottom of the bag. "And you didn't even leave anything for me!"

He threw the bag off to the side in a childish huff, making a mental note to pick it up once they had gotten everything settled down as he watched Chanyeol assess the situation and throw in his two-cents. ".. Clips?" The confusion in Baekhyun's voice was unmistakeable because what was that? And now the other was going on about staking something and that confusion in Baekhyun's face only seemed to spread to his face now.

"So... clips and stakes and..." He trailed off as the other stood, making a move to stand as well, only to stop when he was told to stay put. Baekhyun was so ready to call it quits because this was just way too hard (this never happened in the movies, not really..) and if he were completely honest with himself, he was just as city as Chanyeol was. Even if he did plenty of research (if you could call watching YouTube videos and those crazy survival shows research) on being outdoors, Baekhyun was still as lost as ever.

But bless Chanyeol, who managed to accomplish what he couldn't in just one try. "Oh... So it looks like that.." Moving to his feet, his dusted his pants off before reaching for the second pole thingie that he had left alone until now. "Okay, now let's do that with this one~ Let's try to get the tent up before we do anything else~"
