01. fantastic!

"... Damn," he breathed, when the high had subsided and he was clear-headed enough to think properly again. That wasn't... what he had expected, clearly, since well, it had been better. Way better. Maybe there was something about knowing about Tao's proficiency in wushu that somehow made the entire experience better, as unrealistic as that sounded.

Never mind that they were in one of the practice rooms of the SM building, after hours, and they'd just had sex on one of the practice mats, and most importantly, the fact that anyone who had stayed late could have found them, since they hadn't exactly bothered to keep the volume down.

There was a moment of silence for him to just adjust, the exhaustion setting in more, before he tilted his head upwards to look at her directly. jongin blinks as he stares despondently at the t-shirt minho's thrown at him. a spare he carried around, the older boy had told him, just in case. just in case what jongin doesn't ask as he continues to stare (and hard) at the white flecks that speckle the fabric, an indicator that this shirt's seen better days. it's almost unnerving, jongin thinks, that minho seems to be taking this as well as he is because what had just happened was definitely not something jongin had pegged minho to be the type to do. for a long time—okay, well, as long as he's been on the school's soccer team, he had always pegged minho as something else.

and by something else, he means straight.

and what they've just done definitely doesn't constitute as something any normal straight guy would do. jongin take a deep breath, inhaling through his nose and exhaling through his mouth, before he slips the t-shirt over his head. it smells just like him. jongin blinks. fuck, that's real creepy.

it's then that jongin can't help but curse his parents to heaven high because this is all their fault. it's their fault for making him actually go to soccer practice and calling minho to make sure that he does. ever since they found he had been skipping out on soccer in favor of dance lessons (ones he's been paying for himself mind you), they went all nazi on his ass and that is exactly why he's in this situation, questioning his sexuality.

then again, it takes two to tango.

and minho definitely seemed as into as he did, even if they had been arguing about how jongin wasn't taking practice seriously enough and damnit, the playoffs are next week. it wasn't bad, jongin has already concluded, but it was, well, weird. because they were both guys and jongin's pretty sure he saw minho bringing some girl into the showers just last week. not that he's thought about that or anything. no, of course not, because last week when he had jerked off (like any normal teenage boy), he had been thinking about his dancer teacher (a girl, bye the way) and definitely had not been thinking about the way minho had pressed that girl up against the lockers the way he had (not that jongin had been looking).

Minho blinks, finally registering Jongin's question, and feeling relieved that he isn't the only one who feels awkward about all this. "I am," he says, blankly, before he catches himself. "Well, at least I thought I was."

There was an awkward silence, because no matter how else he could try to answer it, well, there was a sexuality crisis looming just ahead. Sex wasn't new to Minho, because yes, he's fooled around with a couple of girls, but he's always made sure to be careful enough and use protection and thank goodness there's been no news about unwanted pregnancies just yet. But sex with a guy is still new to Minho, despite having done it just mere minutes ago. It's weird, kind of. Minho just thinks that it's even weirder that it's happened with Jongin, because there's something just infinitely more awkward about having sex with one of your childhood friends. Especially when said childhood friend's parents are probably depending on you to take care of their kid, not fuck him in the locker room after practice.

Somehow, Minho doesn't think that Jongin's parents are going to take it well if the news ever leaks.

"Are you?" It's probably the second most awkward question Minho can ask, and it's not really like Minho to look so flustered, especially since on a normal basis, he's probably one of the most put-together people anyone can come across. "Wait, no, you dance, right? ... You know what, forget I said anything," he finishes lamely, because he's just remembered that Lee Hyukjae, one of the seniors, dances and he's managed to score Kim Hyoyeon as a girlfriend.

There's another awkward silence and Minho's not entirely sure if he wants to break it, opting for grabbing his discarded clothes and putting them on, waiting for Jongin's response.
