Hongbin wasn't exactly proud of the series of events that led him to kissing a virtual stranger—that he was paying, because Hongbin needed to go hard or go home when it came to embarrassing situations, apparently—but he was just tipsy enough not to really care, at least not until he was a few hundred dollars poorer and the alcohol was out of his system.

It was difficult, though, being in a new country and having a whole new set of cultural norms to deal with. He'd been thrown into the world of business rather quickly back home and the coffee franchise he'd been working for became popular enough to warrant going overseas and here he was, twiddling his thumbs stateside and wondering what exactly he was supposed to do without the familiarity of Korean business practices.

Somehow he decided the solution was to buy a hooker.

Not for the actual purpose of buying a hooker, of course—a fact he made very, very clear when emailing one of the slightly less terrifying ads he found on craigslist. Of course, with the pricetag and all, Hongbin probably should've realized that whatever rent boy he'd conversed with was going to be more attractive than any actual friend. Hongbin's plans to impress the representatives he was meeting were probably failing horribly, considering how much time he spent staring at his 'friend' (who had casually introduced himself as Leo in the town car) and drinking too many cocktails. While he felt like a child at mommy and daddy's important dinner some of the time, he still managed to escape with a contract signed in ink by the president of one of the two companies that wanted to wine and dine his boss, which he chalked up to sheer luck and the quiet but charming boy beside him, who had filled Hongbin's brief lapses in social chatter with dry humor that managed to distract the entire table.

The contract ended up completely forgotten by the time Hongbin climbed into the backseat of the car with Leo, thrown in the general direction of the driver's head. "Thank you," he said, but that seemed insufficient all on its own, so Hongbin added, "You're cute. Like, really cute. Can I kiss you? Is that allowed?"

He probably should've waited before actually grabbing Leo by the chin and kissing him, but, well. Liquor and victory could be real inhibition-killers.

Taekwoon's job as a rent boy paid well, given how much men in America were willing to pay for a pretty Korean 'boy' to have on their arm. He pulled back after a moment, already looking rumpled. "That was nice, Hongbin." He'd already forgotten completely about the driver.

Hongbin had wholly expected to be shoved away, hit, or at the very least told that this would cost extra—and that wouldn't be a problem at all, given Hongbin's current income and lack of impulse control. Either way, he hadn't quite expected the kiss to be returned and there was the smallest moment where Hongbin hesitated, remembering himself and where he was and what he was doing. It passed quickly, though, replaced by the realization that Leo was quite a nice kisser and Hongbin twisted a few fingers in the front of Leo's shirt, tugging the other man closer. When Leo pulled back it felt entirely too soon and Hongbin followed, swinging a leg over to straddle his hips, mouth pressing briefly against Leo's jaw, then his throat.

He had enough self-awareness to leave it at that, sitting back slightly but making no move to find his own seat again. "Nice," Hongbin repeated, occupying his nervous hands by smoothing down the fabric of Leo's collar. "Nice is good. Right?" He hoped it was good, anyway, because that kiss had been entirely too brief and he was having a hard time thinking about anything but the way Leo's mouth had felt pressed against his, plush and a little bit pliant. Hongbin caught his own lower lip between his teeth, worrying it softly before asking, "Nice means I can kiss you again, I hope?" At least this time he had the decency to wait for an answer.

Taekwoon certainly hadn't expected to find himself with a lap full of tall, dimpled, and gorgeous, but once he did, he didn't want it to change. Hongbin wasn't sure what to do at this point. It wasn't until the car gave a slight lurch that Hongbin remembered where they were, and he dimly noted that his employer probably wouldn't appreciate her company car being used in this manner. Of course, the driver's quiet cough came moments after Leo's teeth met skin and Hongbin was breathing out a soft oh that made it perfectly clear the driver wasn't going to be getting his attention any time soon.
